I had dinner with my friend Summer tonight at Beechwood in Venice. I really don’t see Summer often enough. She’s awesome. Every time we hang out, I walk away feeling happier about things, in a general sense, than I did when I showed up.

Given the pace we in the intraweb industry live our lives, it’s easy to forget how big a difference a little bit of good old fashioned conversation with a friend, over some yummy food, can make in your day. I forget this all the time. I will try to do a better job of remembering, and I will fail. But I will still be looking forward to the next time I grab a bite with Summer. It’s something at least.
