At long, long last, I have redone my blog. I’m not entirely sure when I lost interest in my old blog, but it’s been at least a year. The thing is, I actually do like writing. I think a lot of my boredom with it was that I was using a home-rolled CMS type thing that I whipped up one night in about 2002 in half an hour, and it really just didn’t have the features and stuff that make blogging, well, fun.

So here I am, 2009, and I’ve finally made the move into WordPress. I’m friends with Matt and Barry from the Automattic crew, and these new releases are honestly pretty compelling. Lots to play with.

At any rate, it’s my intention this time around to actually write on a regular basis, which I’m defining as “weekly” for now. I’m also going to spend some time writing up legitimate articles on things that will probably be of a reasonably technical nature. And off we go…
